Heading Home

Here we are in Istanbul, Turkey, a pretty amazing city, and it’s 3 hours before lobby call where we’ll begin the long journey home to America. Dave and I are trying to stay up all night so we can sleep on the plane, ‘cos there’s nothing much worse than staring into space for 16 hours on a flight. Oh sweet sleep, you will soon be mine.

I just wanted to say how happy I am to have met so many of you on this very long tour leg, thank you for all your emails and comments too. We’ve had a great time, and yes, even though we are pretty exhausted by now, I think we all feel a sense of accomplishment in bringing the Gutter Twins music to the masses.

So now it’s time to finish packing, head home, and get some rest for a while. Radio shows will start next week, although I’m pretty sure I’ll be on the air before then.

Thanks to all of you that have supported us on this tour, you mean the world to us, and we’ll be seeing you again before too long.
